LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — From sheep shearing to hand-spun shawls, the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival brought together farmers, artists, and fiber lovers Saturday and Sunday from across the region.
Held each year on the third weekend in May, the festival blends agriculture and art, offering hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages.
“I love to be able to brag that we like to keep our Kentucky agricultural economy going, and there’s no better way than giving them a piece of art to do that with,” Festival Director Sarabeth Parido said.
