LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Car lovers gathered outside Dillard’s at Gateway Mall Saturday, turning the parking lot into a time capsule for the fourth annual Fashion on Wheels car show, an event raising money for the Autism Family Network.
Among the polished classics was Ray Cochran’s 2004 Corvette, a gift from his wife marking their 60th wedding anniversary. Cochran said the show was only the second time he’d ever brought the car out for an event.
“It’s a 2004 Corvette,” Cochran said. “It’s got slotted drilled discs on the brakes and it’s got a broiler in the exhaust system.”…
