Lincoln car dealership helps get nonprofit van back on the road for second time in two years

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A local car dealership lent a helping hand this month to a nationwide nonprofit whose van needed repairs after a crash.

Based in Alabama, Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service helps mow the lawns of the elderly, disabled, veterans and single parents for free, inspiring young people across the country to do the same with a 50-yard challenge.

As part of that challenge, founder Rodney Smith Jr. drives a van across the country to reward kids for completing 50 yards with a brand new lawn mower, weed eater, blower and a T-shirt…
