Morrill Hall closed Tuesday following overnight thunderstorms, water issues reported

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Morrill Hall, the University of Nebraska State Museum, is closed to the public Tuesday due to damage sustained from overnight thunderstorms.

The natural history museum said the storms caused water issues on the first floor. Most damage appears contained to the carpeting and flooring in our main hallway, classroom, storage and exhibits preparation areas. Portions of a few display cases may need repair as well.

The Dolan murals, Marx Discovery Center, Photo Ark Exhibit and the Hall of Nebraska Wildlife were not damaged…
