LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Checkerfest brought together 15 artists and bands across multiple genres Saturday night, according to organizers.
The festival now draws a few hundred people, but it started as an idea among a group of high schoolers who wanted a space to listen to music with their friends.
