LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Nebraskans gathered in Lincoln Wednesday to honor those lost in the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, now 23 years ago. At the Veterans Memorial Garden in Antelope Park, attendees paid tribute by listening to the names of Nebraskans involved in the rescue efforts that day. Following the ceremony, a wreath was placed, giving visitors a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made.
