Lincoln Highway Viaduct Improvement Project moves forward, local business reacts

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A project to build an extended bridge over railroad tracks near 33rd and Cornhusker moved forward Thursday evening as Lincoln Transportation and Utilities introduced the plan during an open house at Lincoln North Star High School.

Dozens of trains cross the area every day, putting traffic at a standstill during busy times.
