OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – After severe weather in parts of southeast Nebraska Saturday evening, there could be more severe storms Sunday afternoon.
Sunday morning begins cloudy and dry. If you need to get anything done outside, maybe a bike ride or a long dog walk, I recommend getting them done by the early afternoon. More storms develop southwest of Lincoln after 3:00 PM Sunday, and race east through the evening.
There will be a little more moisture around to fuel the stronger storms, plus a warm front for added support. Scattered severe storms are possible from Lincoln to Plattsmouth to Shenandoah to the south. Damaging winds and large hail are possible in any storm that forms. Cities closer to the Kansas border, and closest to the front, could see one or two tornadoes.
