Lincoln police arrest man suspected in 6 business burglaries

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department has identified and arrested the man allegedly responsible for six burglaries across the city.

Officers arrested 34-year-old Clarence Wilson of Lincoln on Friday. He is accused of breaking into the following businesses on the following dates:

  • May 13 – Romantix, 3247 S. 10th St.
  • April 20 – Rosari’s Kitchen, 2600 O St.
  • April 15 – Capital City Sports Cards, 5600 S. 59th St.
  • April 15 – Romantix, 3247 S. 10th St.
  • April 12 – Variedades El Quentzal, 930 S. 13th St.
  • March 25 – Lobo City Mex, 340 N. 27th St.

Authorities served a search warrant at Wilson’s home, and police said items from all six burglaries were found inside his home and garage.

According to police, during all of the burglaries, Wilson used a large rock or piece of concrete to smash a glass door or window, then entered the business and removed safes, jewelry, cash, adult toys and devices, sports cards, Pokémon cards and other memorabilia…
