Nebraska baseball’s big comeback win over Minnesota on Friday helped the Huskers capture the final series with the Golden Gophers, and the Big Red will go for the series sweep on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The win also locked in the No. 2 spot in the Big Ten Tournament next week in Omaha, meaning the Huskers know they will play Friday at 5 p.m. CT against a to-be-determined opponent.
Friday’s win also kept the Huskers on track when it comes to their postseason resume. Nebraska continued to climb in metrics that will be in front of the NCAA selection committee this time next week.
