LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a prescribed burn in Pioneers Park on Wednesday.
The burn, which is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will be on about 5 acres of the remnant prairie located north of the sledding area.
The equestrian trail in the sledding area will be closed during the burn, according to officials. Access to the Pioneers Park Nature Center will remain open…
