LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A man who caused a crash that sent one woman to the hospital last Memorial Day weekend in Lincoln was found guilty for DUI-causing serious bodily injury nearly a year later, according to court documents.
Last Memorial Day weekend, Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a four-vehicle crash on O Street between 27th and 29th streets around 10:30 p.m.
According to an arrest affidavit, witnesses said Nicholas Jones, of Lincoln, was stopped at an eastbound red light at the intersection of 27th and O streets in his Chevrolet Silverado when he accelerated rapidly.
