SHERWOOD, Ark. — The City of Sherwood has imposed temporary occupancy restrictions at The Greens at North Hills after concerns were raised about the structural integrity of the facility’s balcony.
City officials say a concerned resident recently contacted them about potential issues with the balcony structure. In response, the city quickly brought in a structural engineer and architects to evaluate the building.
Based on the engineer’s assessment, the balcony, which was originally constructed in 1963, has been closed indefinitely, and occupancy inside the facility has been limited to 49 people while further evaluations and repairs are considered…
