Four area swim beaches, three on Bull Shoals Lake and one on Norfork Lake, have been temporarily closed until further notice due to high water and debris by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
On Norfork Lake, the swim beach at Robinson Point Campground is closed. On Bull Shoals Lake, the swim beaches at Lakeview, Oakland and Theodosia campgrounds have been closed.
High water conditions can create significant safety hazards for visitors. Floating logs, trash and other debris may accumulate in the area and rising water levels may submerge picnic tables, grills and parking lots…
