LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) – Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced the arrest of a Forrest City woman accused of Medicaid fraud.
Griffin said Laronna Williams, 41, falsely claimed to have provided personal care services to Medicaid beneficiaries while working elsewhere. She also submitted claims for services allegedly provided to beneficiaries while they were hospitalized, even though those services were ineligible for Medicaid reimbursement. Medicaid was billed $52,510.72 for the fraudulent claims, Griffin said.
Williams is charged with one count of Medicaid fraud, a Class A felony…
