Army Blackhawk helicopters and a C-130 transport plane will sweep across Arkansas skies Wednesday as the Arkansas National Guard launches its “FlyOver Arkansas” campaign — a statewide salute marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The Guard announced flights will pass over Batesville, Heber Springs, Mountain View, and Melbourne between 11 a.m. and noon Wednesday as part of a day-long route covering communities from central Arkansas to the Missouri border.
