Southeast Arkansas Corps of Engineers $346 million-plus project completion marked with ribbon-cutting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District officials marked the completion of a major project in southeast Arkansas on Aug. 12.

Officials said the Three-Rivers project marked a nationally significant step in protecting the long-term reliability of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The project required work at the junction of the White and Arkansas rivers near the Mississippi at a cost of $346,849,162.
