BRYANT, Ark.- An 8-year-old girl is safe after being swept away by fast-moving floodwaters during heavy rain in Bryant on Wednesday evening.
According to Bryant police, the child was caught in stormwater near Center and Laverne streets after heavy rain moved through the area shortly before 7 p.m., causing flash flooding along several streets.
