Arkansas gas prices climbing following Iran attacks, renewed tensions: AAA

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with AAA said on Thursday that Arkansas gas prices are rising amid renewed tensions in the Middle East.

Officials said the statewide average gas price in Arkansas is $3.47 for a gallon of unleaded regular. This marks a 5-cent jump from a week ago and 67 cents more than a year ago, they added.

In central Arkansas, Hot Springs has the highest average at $3.46 per gallon, followed closely by Pine Bluff at $3.45 per gallon.  The Little Rock-North Little Rock area has the lowest price in the region at $3.44 a gallon.

Among Arkansas metropolitan areas surveyed, the Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers region had the highest average gas price at $3.49 per gallon, while Texarkana reported the state’s lowest average at $3.41 per gallon…
