SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – As temperatures rise across the ArkLaTex, SWEPCO’s energy efficiency team says customers have options beyond turning down the thermostat to stay comfortable and manage energy costs.
Alexandria Coner, AEP energy efficiency consumer programs marketing coordinator, said many customers assume staying cool always means paying more — a misconception she said the utility’s programs are designed to address.
“We have different programs for Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas,” Coner said. “We have programs and rebates and incentives all designed specifically to help you get money back for products and lower your energy usage in your home.”
