TULL, Ark. — Two Arkansas women on vacation in Florida found themselves in the middle of an unexpected rescue mission after spotting a brown pelican struggling to move as Tropical Storm Bertha approached the coast.
Alexis McDade and Shelly Lisko were walking along the beach when they noticed the bird was having trouble spreading one of its wings.
