LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – US Marshals said they arrested two fugitives in Arkansas who were wanted in connection with two separate out-of-state homicide cases.
On Thursday, members of the Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force, along with multiple other Arkansas agencies, arrested Isaiah H. Houston, who officials said was wanted by authorities in Kankakee County, Illinois, for two counts of first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.
At around 11 a.m. on Thursday, US Marshals officials said Houston was involved in a confrontation on Labette Manor Drive in Little Rock before he fled on foot into nearby woods before authorities arrived. After a four-hour manhunt, Houston was taken into custody.
