LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Monday report from the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) shows that cyclosporiasis cases in the Natural State grew by 41% since Friday.
Arkansas now has 173 reported cases of the intestinal parasitic disease. On Friday, 123 cases were reported, a 33% jump over the previous Monday’s 79 cases. On July 14, Arkansas had 10 reported cases of cyclosporiasis.

Additional counties have also been added to the list of those with at least 10 infections.
The county with the highest number of cases in Arkansas is Benton, now at 108. Adjoining Washington County is reporting 17 cases, and Boone County, on the state’s northern line, has 10 cases…
