LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — KATV is celebrating the educators who make a difference in classrooms across Arkansas with the launch of the KATV Teacher of the Month Award, sponsored by Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Center. Beginning August 17, viewers can nominate an outstanding local teacher for the honor.
Each month, one teacher will be selected and recognized on Channel 7 Daybreak. Winners will be chosen on the fifth day of each month and featured on Daybreak the following week, giving viewers the opportunity to learn more about the educator’s dedication, accomplishments and impact on students.
To submit a nomination, you must be at least 18 years old and live within the KATV designated market area. Nominees must be at least 21 years old, reside within the KATV DMA and currently work as a K-12 educator at a public, charter or private elementary, middle or high school within the DMA…
