Searcy joins six Arkansas cities suspending Flock cameras amid privacy debates

SEARCY, Ark. (KATV) — Searcy is the latest Arkansas city to pull the plug on those license plate readers known as Flock cameras.

Searcy is the 6th Arkansas city to do so amid concerns about privacy infringement, and it becomes the 4th city just this week to suspend the use of Flock cameras as the debates continues about whether the AI camera system oversteps on the privacy of Arkansans.
