National burger chain announces further expansion into Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A national burger and ice cream chain with more than a dozen locations in Arkansas says it is looking to expand its footprint in the Natural State.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has announced a franchise agreement that will bring new locations to Arkansas and Texas, according to QSR Magazine and Franchising.com.

Eight new locations are expected to come to the two states, but details on the exact locations of the new restaurants were not released.

“This agreement reflects the continued strength of the Freddy’s franchise opportunity and the momentum we’re building across the country,” Andrew Thengvall, chief development officer of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, said. “We’re proud to partner with experienced franchise operators who share our commitment to quality, genuine hospitality and long-term growth. We look forward to expanding our presence throughout Arkansas and Texas and welcoming more Guests to the Freddy’s experience.”
