LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Community Water System have issued a system-wide water conservation order.
The company said it experienced a mechanical failure with some of its pumping equipment that sends water into the distribution system.
Conway enters Phase 3 of emergency water curtailment plan
Due to high temperatures and high water demand, the company instituted a Water Conservation Order until full pumping capacity can be restored.
Under the order, customers are asked to refrain from lawn irrigation, power washing homes, vehicles and driveways, filling residential swimming pools and limiting the hours of splash pads.
