LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Easter may be right around the corner, but before anyone hops into bringing home a bunny, Arkansas Pet Rabbit Network wants families to slow down and think it through.
Mandy Miller with Arkansas Pet Rabbit Network stopped by with a rabbit named Teacup to share what it really takes to care for pet rabbits, and why they’re not a great impulse buy.
Teacup, a Jersey wooly, is already litter box trained. “So this little girl is teacup, and she knows exactly where her litter box is,” Miller said. Teacup weighs about three pounds and is scheduled to be spayed on the sixth. After that, she’ll be available for adoption.
