Levi Poor, a 38-year-old inmate who escaped from the Polk County Detention Center, has now been recaptured by authorities.

According to Polk County Sheriff Scott Sawyer, Poor had been hiding in LeFlore County after escaping custody. His time on the run ended on March 28, when police spotted him during a traffic stop.

The arrest took place near the Arkansas-Oklahoma border on Highway 8W in Polk County.
