SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — Another contentious runoff is wrapping up in Saline County between Richard Friend and Dustin Robertson. Early numbers indicate that Robertson had a large lead over Friend.
Dustin Robertson wins the Saline County sheriff runoff, beating Richard Friend with a significant lead after more than 6,900 showed up to vote.
“I had no idea, obviously, how things were going to go, and the results were a surprise. But, you know, I’ve got to thank the voters for getting out and voting in a runoff, which, you know, is kind of hard to get the turnout back for that.
