FORT SMITH, Ark. — As severe weather ramps up across Arkansas and Oklahoma, insurance experts say now is the time for homeowners to review their policies before storms hit.
According to State Farm, the company paid out more than $5.6 billion in hail claims in 2025 alone. Both Arkansas and Oklahoma ranked among the top 10 states for hail-related damage, highlighting the impact storms can have across the region.
