LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Central Arkansas’ top high school musical theater students are about to trade the classroom for the spotlight, and for a couple of them, the journey could even lead all the way to New York City.
The Broadway Bound Award Showcase is set for Monday night at the Robinson Center, where students from 16 schools will perform. The event begins at 7 p.m., and winners will earn a chance to head to New York City.
Warren McCullough, co-executive of Stage 13, says the showcase is a chance to see “the best and the brightest in the state” take the stage. “If you want to see what the future of theater and performance looks like, come to the Robinson center Monday night at seven o’clock and support these students and these schools.”…
