LOS ANGELES — As excitement continues around the FIFA World Cup, consumer advocates are warning fans to be cautious when buying tickets through third-party resale platforms after a new lawsuit accused StubHub of failing to deliver tickets to some customers.
Hundreds of soccer fans gathered at the official FIFA Fan Festival at Hansen Dam in Los Angeles this week to watch World Cup matches on the big screen. For many, the event offered an affordable way to be part of the tournament without paying the high price of attending games in person.
