A Bay Area man died after suffering a traumatic brain injury while attending the Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, leaving his family searching for information about what happened during several unaccounted-for hours at the music festival.
David Granado Jr. of San Jose attended the event July 26 with his girlfriend, brother and friends, according to a GoFundMe campaign organized for his family. The fundraiser says Granado underwent emergency brain surgery and spent multiple days on life support before he died.
