Crews with the Los Angeles County Fire Department battled heavy flames and smoke at a commercial structure in Santa Clarita’s Old Town Newhall on Sunday, less than a month after a fire swept through the area destroying several beloved businesses in the heart of the city.
According to county fire officials, reports of the fire in the 24000 block of Railroad Avenue, near the intersection of Market Street, came in around 4:30 p.m.
Footage of the aftermath obtained by KTLA and posted to the Citizen app showed a large response from fire crews, who deployed a ladder truck to reach flames shooting through the roof.
Crews were able to quickly knock down the blaze, but officials have not yet said whether the building or business was a total loss…
