Skid Row Shooting Leaves Kenneth Williams, 47, Dead, No Suspect Identified

Kenneth Williams, 47, was fatally shot on a downtown Los Angeles street this past weekend, and more than two days later, no suspect information has been released. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon near 4th and Crocker streets late Sunday night and found Williams fatally wounded.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Williams, according to MyNewsLA.com, which reported that officers were dispatched to the area at 4th and Crocker streets on Sunday night. A police spokesman told the outlet that officers found Williams already fatally wounded when they arrived. Williams had an undisclosed place of residence, and no suspect information was made available as of the report.

Separately, Hollywood LA News reported that the shooting happened at around 10:15 p.m. near the intersection of 4th Street and Crocker Street, placing the incident in the Skid Row area of downtown LA. That outlet’s report also notes that the manner and cause of Williams’s death have not yet been officially announced by the medical examiner.
