A man riding a motorized bike was killed in a hit-and-run in a Los Angeles neighborhood overnight, police confirmed.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred just before 11 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of West 36th Street and 5th Avenue in Jefferson Park.
“A vehicle was traveling eastbound on 36th when they hit someone on a motorized bike who was also going east on 36th Street,” LAPD said. “The man on the motorbike was ejected and slammed into a parked vehicle.”
The vehicle that struck the motorbike then fled the scene in an unknown direction, authorities said. No description of it was immediately available…
