The California Highway Patrol has launched an investigation after a person was found dead in the brush near an off-ramp of the eastbound 10 Freeway in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles.
The CHP and L.A. City units responded to a call at 10:38 a.m. Thursday of a person down and confirmed the person was deceased when they arrived at the scene.
No details were available about the estimated age or sex of the person found.
The CHP shut down the on and off-ramps of the eastbound 10 Freeway at La Cienega Boulevard as officers investigated the death. Sky5’s Rich Prickett was over the scene at 1:45 p.m., and they appeared to have reopened.
