PLAYA DEL REY – A Canyon Country man has been arrested less than a week after police say he fled a fatal Playa del Rey hit-and-run collision that killed a 1-year-old boy and his 25-year-old uncle.
The Los Angeles Police Department identified the suspected driver Thursday as 28-year-old Moises Rodriguezleiva. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department inmate records, Rodriguezleiva was arrested at about 7:35 a.m. Wednesday and was being held on $4 million bail.
The crash happened around 4:34 a.m. Sunday in the 6800 block of Vista Del Mar, just south of Culver Boulevard and blocks from the ocean, according to authorities…
