A televised Los Angeles mayoral forum set for this week will no longer take place.
The League of Women Voters and the Pat Brown Institute for Public Affairs, who co-sponsored the event, announced the cancelation on Monday.
Originally set to be televised on FOX 11 on Wednesday night, the forum was supposed to give L.A. voters “the opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking to lead the city through a period of extraordinary challenges,” both organizations said in a joint statement…
