Bella Fire: Blaze Burns Over 100 Acres Near Neenach, Evacuation Warning Issued

A brush fire burning near Neenach, east of Gorman, that spread rapidly Wednesday morning has been stopped at approximately 120 acres, with firefighters reporting forward progress has been halted.

The fire, dubbed the Bella Fire, was reported near 265th Street West and West Avenue B-8. The blaze grew to approximately 120 acres Wednesday morning amid gusty winds and dry brush conditions, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials. Firefighters have since stopped forward progress on the fire.

An evacuation warning has been issued for Zone LAC-E002.
