Bad Roman Brings Showstopping Italian Dishes to Beverly Hills

In 2006, legendary New York restaurateur Alan Stillman (T.G.I Fridays, Smith & Wollensky) teamed up with his son Michael Stillman to transform the Manhattan Ocean Club into Quality Meats — a modern take on a classic New York steakhouse. And with that, the father-son duo’s Forth Wall Restaurants — later renamed Quality Branded hospitality group — was born.

On the heels of Quality Meats, the Stillmans went on to create the since-closed seasonally-changing Park Avenue Summer (Autumn, Winter, Spring). Then came Quality Italian (in New York in 2013 and Denver in 2017), Quality Meats Miami (2015), Don Angie (2017) and Quality Bistro (2020). Newer hot spots include Mediterranean haunt Zou Zou’s (November 2021), Bad Roman (February 2023), West Village seafood jewel box San Sabino (March 2024), Twin Tails Southeast Asian eatery (October 2024) and lively Mexican spot Limusina (September 2025)…
