- Postmates analyzed more than 11 million Los Angeles delivery orders from 2025 to create its first-ever Postie Awards, highlighting the city’s most popular takeout destinations and expert-approved restaurants.
- The awards combine customer ordering data and industry recommendations, recognizing restaurants ranging from social media favorites like Sugarfish and Erewhon to chef-backed picks such as Kismet Rotisserie and Avi Cue.
- Beyond naming top restaurants, the Postie Awards offer a snapshot of Los Angeles delivery habits, including peak ordering times, favorite cuisines, and the most commonly customized menu items.
Los Angeles is packed with standout restaurants, but one delivery platform is helping diners identify the spots that deserve a place at the top of their to-order list. This week, Postmates announced the first annual Postie Awards, which honor LA restaurants for their delivery service. (After all, the company reports, delivery makes up 75% of all dining-out occasions. )
The Postie Awards distill the platform’s hundreds of Los Angeles listings into just over 50 recommendations, which fall into one of two categories. For its People’s Choice winners, Postmates analyzed more than 11 million delivery orders from almost 5 million customers placed in 2025. For its expert-recommended Industry Picks winners, Postmates consulted chefs, restaurant owners, Postmates employees, and influencers.
Emmy-nominated Top Chef host Kristen Kish will announce the winners via Instagram on June 4.
“As much as I love cooking, I also love ordering in,” Kristen Kish says in a press statement. “Whether it’s sushi delivered cold or pasta delivered piping hot, we commend these winning LA restaurants and Postmates for bringing true dining experiences to couches across the city.”…
