L.A. man guilty in brutal murders of 2 homeless men, attempted murder of third

A 41-year-old man has been convicted in the killing of two homeless men and the attempted murder of a third during a two-day shooting spree in downtown Los Angeles.

On April 24 and 25, 2024, Clifford Chaun Loyer, armed with a stolen .380-caliber handgun, targeted unhoused men living on the streets, prosecutors said in a news release.
