A brush fire burning in Los Angeles County Friday afternoon has crossed over into Kern County, prompting evacuation warnings, according to officials.
The Macy Fire is currently burning approximately 1,600 acres. It broke out near N. 110th Street W and Highway 138 in Antelope Acres before spreading into Kern County, according to L.A. Fire.
Evacuation warnings were issued south of Rosamond in zones KRN-152-A and KRN-153-A in Kern County and in zones LAC-E1641, LAC-E1642 and LAC-E1639 in L.A. County. A map of current evacuation zones can be found here. You can also see if your location is impacted here.
