At approximately 4:00 a.m. on June 20, 2026, California Highway Patrol officers responded to a fatal traffic collision on the southbound 101 Freeway near Alameda Street in Downtown Los Angeles.
Emergency crews arrived to find at least one person deceased as a result of the crash.
