Vehicle Fire Linked to Wider Culver City Arson Investigation, Police Say

CULVER CITY – A vehicle fire that spread to another car and nearby trees has become part of a wider arson investigation involving multiple suspicious fires across Culver City, with prosecutors filing felony charges against a Los Angeles man, according to the Culver City Police Department.

Police said officers responded around 3:42 a.m. on June 2 to the rear alley of the 11100 block of Culver Boulevard, where they found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The fire spread to a second vehicle and ignited two large parkway trees, creating what police described as a serious threat to the surrounding area.
