Six suspects believed to be linked to a professional South American burglary crew were arrested by Irvine police officers.
The suspects were identified as:
- Andres Zarate, 32, of Bellflower
- Darlyn Alejandra Acosta Serrano, 32, of Huntington Beach
- One 17-year-old girl
- Three 17-year-old boys
Over the past year, police said the crew is believed to be responsible for more than 10 residential burglaries throughout the city of Irvine.
“Through extensive surveillance and evidence gathering, detectives identified the suspects involved,” the Irvine Police Department said.
