A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a minivan Thursday morning at an intersection in La Puente, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 5:45 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Amar Road and North Evanwood Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and was not immediately identified, a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol said. Whether the driver of the van was injured was unknown.
