Detectives in Compton are investigating two different shootings that resulted in a total of three people dead, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The first shooting was reported at a large Fourth of July party on the 700 block of W. Laurel Street at about 11:20 p.m., LASD said. There, two people were found shot.
The victims’ names were not released, but law enforcement described them as one woman and one man. Their approximate ages were not immediately available…
